Weekly Update August 9
We look forward to seeing you along at F5 at 5 on Sunday.
Sally will be leading the service, Robyn preaching and Paul leading music. You will also be hearing testimonies from some other F5ers.
Last Sunday Robyn began a 2 week season on John 6 where Jesus said “I am the Bread of Life”. This Sunday we will look a little more at what this means for our day to day Christian walk.
Prayer Points
* Pray for those affected by drought especially those in NSW and Qld, for farmers and their families, for hay carters and for rural communities.
*Pray for SRE in schools throughout the region, for the SRE teachers, for the High School SRE coordinator Jen Schabel and the Primary SRE coordinator Mick Hookham
*For those who are sick, especially remembering Jim who has been in and out of hospital.
*For Roger and the team in Uganda
*Thank God for all those who work so diligently to make F5 happen.
*For Little Sheep and 3D as they meet on Wednesdays and for Sally and her teams.
*Pray that God will open up areas for other members of F5 to be using their gifts.
Opportunities to help at F5
– join the kitchen team
– train for AV setup or to run PowerPoint
– volunteer at the Bookshop or the Artisan’s Table
– join Gill for prayer from 2.30 on Sundays or join setup team from 3.30
– Pray for rain which is so desperately needed.
F5 Happenings
3D Kids has now been launched on a Wednesday afternoon.
Little Sheep runs every Wednesday morning at Christ Church. All Mums and preschoolers are welcome. We always welcome new helpers. Please cover both of these activities in prayer. Pray for families who will bring their children, and for children attending that they will hear the good news of Jesus. Pray for safety and harmony in the running of the program and pray for Sally and her team that what they say and do will be to God’s glory.
If you need to complete a Safe Ministries refresher course, Crookwell have one on Saturday the 4th of August. Talk to Sally for details. You can also complete either the induction or the refresher course online – link will be available on our website. If you are intending to work with children in any capacity a Working With Children Check is also required. The link for this will also be on the website.
F10 meets at Mandelsons on Monday at 10am. All are welcome to join in our special cooking morning next Monday, 13th, which Claire is planning. Contact Robyn 0414254154
