Weekly Update November 21, 2018
Dear F5 family and friends,
Once again it was wonderful to see so many of you at F5 last Sunday night. Last Sunday night we celebrated Christ the King. Jesus, our King was handed over to the soldiers by Judas, then handed over to Annas, then Caiaphas who tried to get the Jewish leaders to take him, then finally to Pilate who ordered His death. However, it was Jesus who handed himself over to death and into God’s hands. “Father, into Your hands I commend my Spirit”. After being challenged about living as Kingdom people, we sang the wonderful words from ‘This Kingdom’ by Geoff Bullock
And this Kingdom will know no end
And it’s glory shall know no bounds
For the majesty and power
Of this Kingdom’s King has come
And this Kingdom’s reign
And this Kingdom’s rule
And this Kingdom’s power and authority
Jesus, God’s righteousness revealed
In Sunday’s service, Robyn will be leading, Sally preaching and Paul leading worship.
As part of our Meeting in the Mall on Thursdays many of us have enjoyed sharing time together over coffee .Lots of great conversations have taken place and enormous amounts of coffee have been drunk and donuts eaten. Come along and join us. 
Prayer Points:
*Those who are unwell or going through difficult times.
Especially: Jim, Gordon and Gordon’s brother in law, Jason, John K, Penny, Alison, Terrence, Roger and Brian
*Pray for all members of our governments that they will make wise decisions
*For those impacted by drought, flood, earthquakes, fire and other natural disasters
*For those who are homeless and hungry and for those who provide services to them including Anglicare and Baptist care
*Sally and the Binda Parish churches, Gill and the Marulan church, Ken and Karen at Collector . Ken will be ordained priest in the cathedral on Saturday. Pray for other clergy in our local churches
*For the Twa people and for the ongoing work in both Australia and Uganda to help further. Pray for Jane Lyons doing voluntary mission work in India
*Pray for Little Sheep and 3D Kids team members, the children and their families.
*Weekly activities of F5 Refresh Ministries (see below)
*Pray for Mick and Jen, for the SRE teachers and schools of this region. Pray for favour in the schools and financial support of SRE .
*For Mick and Ange and Rocky Hill Church.
*For the pastoral care workers in our hospitals
*Pray for Rev Dr Mark Short, elected as our new Bishop and for Bishop Trevor as he continues on for another 5 months.
*For Mosaic and our outreach to the women of Goulburn
*For the Men’s Breakfast at 7.30 on TOMORROW, December 1
Carols of Hope
Preparation for The Carols of Hope in the park on December 22 and for Peter Mylonas as he prepares them. If you would like to join with us singing at these carols on December 22nd, please talk to Robyn or Paul. We would like to practice on Sunday 16th at 7pm.
