Happy Thursday,
This week we have been reflecting on Derek’s tips of the four actions we can all take to overcome the sin of indifference:
- Pray for the person or situation (remeber 1:1:1?)
- ‘Build a bridge of trust that will bear the weight of truth’ with the person/people
- Learn to tell your story – everyone has one and each story is powerful in its own way. Think about the before, the moment of change (could be gradual understanding) and the after – focus on the after or how life is different because of what Jesus has done for you.
- Invite. Ask permission – part of a trusting relationship.
World Cup Quote
The church can be like a soccer game, 22 tired players in need of a rest watched by 22000 people in need of exercise. ”

The moral, don’t be an indifferent spectator, get involved!
