On Sunday night we remembered Armistice day, the end of World War 1. Thank you so much to Stuart and Ken for sharing stories of family involvement in the war.
Let’s try to remember some of the points we talked about from the story of King Jehoshaphat.
- Seeking help from the Lord as soon as a problem looms – sometimes fast
- Praying with all those who are involved in the situation
- Standing in God’s presence and giving Him control
- Seeking the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit
- Listening to others (prophetic people) who may have leading and words from God
- Praising God with our whole hearts and together
- Listening to God and believing His word.
On Sunday we will celebrate Communion. Robyn is leading, Gill is preaching and Paul and the band leading the music.
- Those who are unwell or going through difficult times.
Especially: Jim, Gordon and Gordon’s brother in law, Jason, John K, Penny, Alison, Terrence, Roger and Brian
- Pray for all members of our governments that they will make wise decisions
- For those impacted by drought, flood, earthquakes, fire and other natural disasters
- For those who are homeless and hungry and for those who provide services to them including Anglicare
- Sally and the Binda Parish churches, Gill and the Marulan church, Ken and Karen at Collector and other clergy in our local churches
- For the Twa people following the team’s visit and for the ongoing work in both Australia and Uganda to help further.
- Pray for 3D Kids team members, the children and their families.
- Pray for Little Sheep team members, for the families and children
- Weekly activities of F5 Refresh Ministries (see below)
- Pray for Mick and Jen, for the SRE teachers and schools of this region. Pray for favour in the schools and financial support of SRE .
- For Mick and Ange and Rocky Hill Church.
- For the pastoral care workers in our hospitals
- Pray for Rev Dr Mark Short, elected as our new Bishop.
